I'd like to apologize to any person who was hurt by a certain individual that claimed a divine purpose but implied you were worthless.
I'd like to apologize for every time you were judged by someone who claimed they were above because they had the love of Christ but didn't.
I'd like to apologize to you for the ignorance of every Christian, for the dogmatic arrogance of the religious.
For all the standards they claim to live by but fail to apply.

I'd like to apologize for every televangelist that has ever taken advantage of those in the middle of the night trying to sell them the light of Christ.
I'd like to apologize for the selling of the fake holy relics and indulgences used to gain, contain, and maintain the freedom of the people, by the self proclaimed universal church.

BUT THE ENTIRE LAW IS SUMMED UP IN ONE COMMAND: TO LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOUR SELF.

I'd like to apologize for that priest or that pastor that took away your innocence as a child.
I'd like to apologize for that usher or deacon that said you couldn't step into church cause you had style, cause you had dreadlocks, or an earring, or a tattoo, that's so taboo.
So I guess that means heaven has a dress code too?
See, cuz God can care less about how we dress, or what Bible translation we think is best. With the outward appearance He is not impressed.

I'd like to apologize for every fundamentalist that has ever blown up an abortion clinic in the name of the Most High.
I'd like to apologize for every protestor outside of a major event with picket signs that reads "God Hates Gays".
Cuz last time I checked, it said the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of heaven.
It also said that by our actions, our own standards, our protests, none of us is made any more righteous in God's eyes.
So where does that leave you Mr. Picket sign man,?
Mr. Ticket each time when you see someone that doesn't live your dogma to the word
But you didn't either, the nerve.

See, I’d like to apologize to you because, whether in your subconscious or frontal lobe
Hypocrite!
That’s probably how you view me.

So right here, right now, I'll be the scapegoat.

To the brilliant writings of J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis, and the Chronicles of Narnia.
To the Nobel Peace Prize nominated Bono; and you too can see the influence of Marcus Garvey

This is just to name a few, true Christians that took a stand, and understand on what we stand
